SMART Board/TLAT Workday #2

Workday

Go ahead and start working on your lesson (either TLAT #2 or Smart Lesson). I have included the tutorials and resources on this page for reference. I’m here to help and your peers are here for you as well. Please don’t hesitate to ask for help or feedback on your lesson.

Smart Tutorials

I made both a Mac Smart Tutorial and a PC Smart Tutorial – very similar – for you to refer back to or search for helpful information. There are also other resources you may want to check out:

Smart Resources 1

Smart Resources 2 (This is my favorite place to search for existing files)

Smart Resources 3

Smart Resources 4

Please refer back to these as often as necessary throughout the next week or so.

Smart Notebook Examples

Before we learn all the technical aspects of using and creating Smart files, let’s look at some examples:

Example 1: Smart Board Basics

Example 1: Drawing Using a Grid System

Example 2: How to Read Maps

Example 3: Morning Calendar 2010

Example 4: Whack-a-Mole Game

Example 5: Smart City (If we have time, we’ll watch the video as well)

For Wednesday

Your TLAT #2 or Smart Lesson should be saved as a PDF and attached to your creativity and innovation page. Remember to include a description on your page to give your reader information about your attachment.

If you are creating a Smart Notebook file, I would also like for you to save it to a flash drive I will pass around. These files will be shared on SMART Exchange, the same way that you were able to access other teacher files.
